Terms and Conditions for Events
The Skin Health Institute (SHI) is required to adhere with the requirements of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Australia). SHI reserves the right to modify or amend this privacy statement at any time, provided that those modifications or amendments comply with applicable laws.
USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
The SHI will collect and store information you provide in this Registration Form to enable us to:
• register your attendance at this event;
• assist with administrative and planning purposes;
• plan and develop other events in the future;
• facilitate your requirements in relation to this event;
• allow the compilation and analysis of statistics relevant to the SHI.
The information that you provide in the Registration Form and information provided at any other time in relation to this event, including any feedback obtained, will be used by the SHI to offer, provide and continue to improve SHI events and other services.
DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES
The SHI may share an Attendance List with the partner/s of this event. The Attendance List will contain attendants’ registered names only. Registrants may withhold consent for the inclusion of their details on the list by contacting [email protected]
The SHI will not otherwise, without your consent, use or disclose your personal information for any purpose unless it would reasonably be expected that such purpose is related to the offer, provision and improvement of the SHI or where such purpose is permitted or required by law. Registrants may withhold consent for disclosure of their contact details by contacting [email protected].
REFUNDS, CREDITS AND TRANSFERS
All event ticket sales are final. No exchange, credit or refund will be given except in the case of cancelled or rescheduled Events.
EVENT CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT
Sometimes Events are cancelled, varied, rescheduled or postponed. If an Event is postponed the ticket will be automatically transferred to the new date for the postponed Event.
In order to obtain a refund or a credit for the ticket price for cancelled or postponed paid events, please notify us at [email protected] no later than 4 weeks after the originally scheduled event. The credit for the ticket price can be put towards another of our events that occurs within 12 months of the originally scheduled date of the postponed event.
Any refund or credit issued will be your sole remedy for a postponement or cancellation of an Event, and we will have no further liability to you in respect of any cancellation, variation, rescheduling or postponement of an Event for any reason. Any credits issued for postponed or cancelled Events that are not used within 12 months of the originally scheduled date of the postponed/cancelled Event will be forfeited.
