Dr Ryan De Cruz is a specialist dermatologist with expertise in: eczema, acne, rosacea, psoriasis, skin cancer, laser treatment and hair loss disorders. He graduated from his medical degree from the University of Melbourne in 2009 with Honours.

Dr De Cruz received the Australasian College of Dermatologist’s Hermann Lawrence Prize in Dermatology and completed a Bachelor of Medical Science in hair disorders.

He has worked in variety of tertiary referral hospitals across Melbourne and the United Kingdom. He has been appointed to consultant positions at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Skin Health Institute and has a keen interest in teaching medical students and junior doctors. Dr De Cruz's research has been published in leading medical journals and presented at peak international conferences and he has been awarded the Paul Eddington Scholarship from the Skin & Cancer Foundation Inc. (now known as Skin Health Institute) and the Australasian College of Dermatologists’ FC Florance Bequest Fellowship.

In 2016, he received a Victoria Fellowship from the Victorian State Government. He undertook research into the role of immunosuppression on the skin, with a particular focus on bone marrow transplant patients.
