Dr Micallef is a consultant rheumatologist who graduated from Melbourne University with honours and trained at St Vincent’s Hospital, Western Hospital and the Royal Melbourne Hospital. She built on her experience in inflammatory arthritis during a fellowship in Cambridge (UK) in 2013 after being awarded the Victorian Australian Rheumatology Association (ARA) fellowship.

Dr Micallef enjoys providing patient-centred care as part of a multidisciplinary team and has an interest in medical education. She also works at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Skin Health Institute and the University of Melbourne.
