Dr Bonnie Swan graduated from the University of Melbourne with honours in 2009 and then completed her dermatology training in Melbourne and London.
Dr Swan was awarded the AAD Prize for merit for the Australasian College of Dermatologists Fellowship Examinations in 2016. In addition to dermatology, Bonnie has further trained internationally in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, a specialised surgical technique for skin cancer treatment. She completed a 12 month Mohs Micrographic Surgery Fellowship at the prestigious St John’s Institute of Dermatology, Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in London where she stayed as a consultant. She went on to complete a further 6 month Mohs Micrographic Surgery Fellowship at Oxford Day Surgery in Perth Western Australia, obtaining extensive experience in an area of high need for skin cancer treatment.

Dr Swan has multiple papers published in the Australasian Journal of Dermatology and had her work presented at the Australasian College of Dermatologists Annual Scientific Meetings and internationally at the British Association of Dermatologists Annual Meeting.

Dr Swan is currently a visiting dermatology consultant and performs Mohs Micrographic Surgery at the Skin Health Institute, Melbourne.
