We would like to congratulate Dr Harini Bala on completing her Mohs Training Fellowship with the Skin Health Institute. We are also pleased to announce that Dr Bala will continue with us as a Mohs surgery specialist at the Skin Health Institute.
Dr Harini Bala was the inaugural fellow of the Mohs Training Fellowship, which was introduced by Mohs Surgery Specialist and Training Supervisor Dr Tim Rutherford, and supported by our team of Mohs surgery specialists. The fellowship has increased access to Mohs surgery, resulting in a higher caseload since its inception. Since starting her 18-month fellowship at SHI in February 2023, Dr Bala has become an essential member of the Mohs team. She has actively contributed to and benefited from the Institute’s commitment to education, research, and training.
By nurturing the next generation of Mohs surgery specialists and fostering a culture of lifelong learning, our Mohs team is advancing dermatologic surgery on a national scale.
We look forward to continuing the Mohs Training Fellowship, with our new fellowship intake commencing in the coming months.
