Dr Nishan graduated from Sri Lanka in 1995 and commenced dermatology training in 2004. He completed his MD in dermatology in 2008 and subsequently worked in New Zealand. He obtained his FACD in 2014 after training in various hospitals in Melbourne, including the Skin Health Institute, Alfred Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and St. Vincent’s Hospital.

He also works in private rooms in East Melbourne and at the Alfred Hospital. He sees all general dermatological conditions with a special interest in acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, contact dermatitis, skin cancers including melanoma, tropical diseases and pigmentary disorders.
