Dr Jill Cargnello completed her medical degree and dermatology training in Melbourne. She then spent two years in London, where she worked at St Bartholomew’s Hospital as a Consultant Dermatologist and a Senior Lecturer in dermatology.

Dr Jill Cargnello became interested in hair disorders early in her career and was involved in several research projects during her time in London. She helped establish the first hair clinic at the Skin Health Institute in Melbourne. The clinic has expanded and has now been in operation for over twenty years. Dr Cargnello continues to attend the clinic, seeing patients and training dermatology registrars.

Dr Cargnello enjoys the challenges of all aspects of dermatology but has particular interest in managing hair disorders, acne, skin cancer and the ageing process. In the pursuit of achieving the best outcomes for her patients she has also developed her expertise in the use of vascular, pigment and semi ablative lasers.
