Refer a Patient
The Skin Health Institute is a not-for-profit, private centre of excellence in skin health.
Specialists and GPs can refer patients to:
- a specialist dermatologist in one of our sub-specialty clinics, including the occupational dermatology clinic for patch testing, please use the patch testing referral form*
- our day procedure centre for advanced surgery and Mohs surgery

The Institute accepts patients from 12 years and above (exclusions may apply).
Many of our clinics currently have short wait times and can usually see your patients within two weeks of referral. Please note that some of our clinics may have a longer wait time. We also have daily capacity for urgent referrals.

We offer a wide range of dermatology clinics and services including specialty clinics for the treatment of more complex skin conditions. Referrals are required for our clinics.
You can refer a patient directly to the Skin Health Institute.

*Referrals from GPs are not accepted for the Contact Dermatitis Clinic due to the high demand of the clinic. GP
referrals are accepted for the Occupational Dermatology Clinic if it is a clear occupational issue.
