In this episode of the Spot Diagnosis podcast, we take a closer look at alopecia areata – a challenging and often distressing condition that frequently leads to dermatology referrals.
What treatments can be safely initiated in general practice? How are intralesional steroid injections performed? And at what point should a dermatologist be involved?
Through three clinical vignettes of increasing severity, we explore the practical management of alopecia areata, offering insights to help guide decision-making across different stages of the condition.
We would like to thank our Institute Partner, Melbourne Pathology, for their support of the Spot Diagnosis Podcast and our episode partner, Sanofi.
