Patients with psoriasis have significantly higher incidence of comorbidities such as metabolic syndrome, compared to the general population. This Masterclass will explore this constellation of comorbidities in more detail, their prevalence in the population of patients with psoriasis, and how these comorbidities can interact with psoriasis. The various ways in which metabolic syndrome can present in psoriasis patients, along with practical considerations for screening and management of metabolic syndrome in psoriasis patients will also be discussed.
