This workshop aims to upskill practitioners in examining, diagnosing, and managing nail disorders, including assessing and managing various nail conditions.
This workshop will upskill GPs and GP trainees in assessing and managing various nail conditions.
At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Use descriptive nail terminology to describe nail pathology Â
- Outline common nail disorders that may present to general practice and how these may reflect underlying presentations of systemic disease
- List the investigations available for diagnosing nail conditions
- Recognise red flags in longitudinal melanonychia which may indicate melanoma
