This workshop aims to upskill practitioners in the examination, diagnosis and management of hair loss in general practice and an introduction to trichoscopy. Hair loss is a common presentation to Australian GPs and GP registrars. It is often the first sign of serious systemic disease and may carry a heavy psychological burden. This workshop will ensure that practitioners are well-placed to diagnose hair loss early and initiate timely treatment, improving long-term outcomes for patients.
